Our Range

Palms & Cycads

Suitable for use as either indoor or outdoor plants, cycads and palms make attractive, robust, and low maintenance additions to your office or garden spaces.

Palms usually prefer sunny positions, however some will thrive in sheltered or shady locations. Cycads are versatile and will live in most environments, including indoors. As palms and cycads are relatively slow-growing, they are low-maintenance, only requiring occasional pruning of yellowed fronds and removal of flower scapes to prevent fruiting if necessary. This makes them ideal for commercial locations and offices.

Palms and cycads are also especially suited to Brisbane, as most palms and cycads are tolerant of drought and have few pest predators or diseases. Potted palms and cycads require more water than those you plant in the ground, and some require special conditions. Make sure you ask our expert staff for advice on the best palms for your garden project.

We have a broad range of palms and cycads available. As our stocks change with each order, please contact us for our current full range.

Grasses & Bamboo

Grasses and bamboos make fantastic landscaping elements in commercial and display gardens.

These are highly versatile and attractive plants, suitable for use as either indoor potted or outdoor plants, they make attractive additions to your office or garden spaces. Bamboo makes a great screening plant, and can replace fences or provide a focus, path liner, or elevated background behind lower plants or around sculptures in a feature garden. These plants will grow in sheltered, shady, or sunny positions.

As grasses and bamboos are relatively fast-growing, they require regular maintenance, and large bamboo requires significant space around the plant for root rhizomes. Grasses and bamboos will thrive in Brisbane, however most grasses and bamboos require regular watering. Grasses and bamboos have few pest predators or diseases.

Succulents

Succulents and cacti are some of the easiest plants to grow and propagate because they store water in their fleshy leaves and stalks. They are also ideally suited to Brisbane and the Australian climate.

Succulents mostly prefer sunny positions, but some do prefer shade, and many are happy as either indoor or outdoor plants. Make sure you speak to our expert staff to find out which ones will thrive in your garden project.

Many succulents are ideal for use as ground cover. However, many can also be used as feature elements to draw the eye or create an interesting focal point in your garden. You can also use them to create areas of colour, shapes, and garden borders, or put them in pots or hanging baskets.

Easy to maintain and drought-tolerant, they can make attractive, versatile landscaping features. As succulents are relatively slow-growing, they are low-maintenance, only requiring occasional pruning. This makes them ideal for commercial locations and low-maintenance gardens.

Ground Covers

Ground cover plants are anything that spreads out over the ground in your garden.

You can create impressive pattern displays with flowers, plants of different colours, and plants that grow to different heights, create a cottage garden, or grow more contemporary displays with clever plant selection.

There are many benefits to using ground cover plants, the key one being to cover bare spaces that would otherwise fill up with weeds, reducing maintenance required in your garden spaces. Useful in commercial and residential gardens, ground covers are great for both indoor and outdoor settings, depending on plant variety.

As ground covers are usually relatively fast-growing, they require regular maintenance to cut them back or remove dead flowers and stalks. Most ground covers require regular watering, however native varieties can be more drought-tolerant.

We have a broad range of ground cover plants available. As our stocks change with each order, please contact us for our current full range.

Native Plants

Native plants are ideally suited to our local climate, and less prone to suffer from disease and pest problems that may affect introduced species.

Drought is also less of an issue with native plants, which are mostly very drought-tolerant.

Australian native plants are also a great way to attract birds, butterflies, and other wildlife to your garden, while helping to sustain local wildlife populations.

Most native plants prefer sunny positions, however rainforest varieties mostly prefer shady locations. As these plants are well suited to our local environment, they are generally low-maintenance. This makes them ideal for both commercial and residential locations.
